If you are still able to load the game I'd like you to go to this folder: From here you can change to your prefered resolution (and back to fullscreen) at the character select screen. This will put the game into windowed mode and may allow you to enter the game. I have the HP dv7 quad core i7 with a Radeon HD 6770M graphics card. I tried restarting the game a few times and restarted my computer as well with no luck ( I'm quite sure my computer has the right hardware to play the game, the graphics card in particular which seems to be the issue surprisingly. I could hear sounds from the game from randomly clicking around but nothing ever showed up.
the sound was working, as I started to click around the blank screen hoping I'd "hit a right button".
I logged in and then completed the initial launch update and clicked play.the screen proceeded to a black screen The cursor became the yellow pointer (signature to this game i guess) and was the only thing visible on the screen. I got SWTOR today and got everything installed and my account set up etc.
